Starting in June of 2017, CGI+ began negotiation of two purchase contracts as well as a JV agreement on a full block site located on the main Broadway thoroughfare of Oakland in the desirable Temescal area. The site is comprised of three parcels totaling approximately 43,000 SF.
The mixed-use project is currently being entitled for approximately 127 apartments within a five-story building as well as 3,000 SF of retail space on the ground level.
Temescal is an increasingly vibrant, easily walkable urban neighborhood in close proximity to Downtown Oakland, Berkeley and Emeryville, as well as the Financial District of San Francisco via the nearby BART station.
Subject to the successful completion of entitlements, the project is anticipated to break ground in 2023 and will take an estimated two years to build and stabilize.
