In June of 2017, CGI+ began negotiation of two purchase contracts as well as a JV agreement on a full block site located on the main Broadway thoroughfare of Oakland in the desirable Temescal area. The site is comprised of three parcels totaling approximately 43,000 square feet. The residential project is currently being entitled for approximately 143 apartments within a five-story building.
Temescal is an increasingly vibrant, easily walkable urban neighborhood near Downtown Oakland, Berkeley, and Emeryville, as well as the Financial District of San Francisco via the nearby BART station.
Subject to the successful completion of entitlements, the project is anticipated to break ground in late 2022 and will take an estimated two years to build and stabilize.
