Villa Carlotta Receives 2018 Design Preservation Award

Posted on August 17, 2018

Villa Carlotta is CGI’s Hollywood haunt. Once a creative hideaway for Hollywood greats, the current VC is a tastefully uplifted den for musicians, artists, writers and other Hollywood types. Lavish lobbies and courtyards of yesteryear are now gathering places for collaboration and artistic creation. CGI’s design team took great care to preserve the original charm of this property and the result is unanimous great reviews and even an Award from The California Preservation Foundation.

The California Preservation Foundation is a renowned organization that provides statewide leadership, advocacy and education to ensure the protection of California’s diverse cultural heritage and historic places. They aim to ensure that the rich diversity of California’s historic resources are identified, protected and celebrated for their history and for their valuable role in California’s economy, environment and quality of life.

On October 19, 2018, they will present Villa Carlotta with the sought-after 2018 Preservation Design Award. We are so proud of this project and for the team that made it happen!
