Santa Claus SmilesWith the global supply chain in upheaval, one manufacturing/logistics organization has seemed to solve the problems faced by such corporate behemoths as Fed Ex, UPS and Amazon to make sure all their deliveries are completed on December 25.   Despite his incredibly demanding schedule and looming deadline, the CEO and founder was gracious enough to take time out of his busy day, to speak with CGI+ for a few moments to talk about how he handles the stress, a lesson all busy executives can learn from.

While we are hard at work all year long, December is especially filled with anxiety and tension, because so many around the world are depending on us.   Missing a delivery is simply not an option.   Customer service is paramount and that puts a lot of pressure on me and my workers     When I feel overwhelmed, I take a few minutes and remind myself of the lessons we can all learn from a Christmas tree:

  1. Be a light in the darkness
  2. We all fall over sometimes and that’s OK.
  3. Our ultimate goal is to bring joy to others
  4. Its OK to be a little tilted. No one is perfect.
  5. Sparkle & Twinkle as often as possible
